1. Stay calm and keep sooth your dog.
2. Call your vet to see if you could give an antihistamine while transporting.
3. Take your dog to the vet right away.
If you are several hours from a veterinary clinic, call your vet to see if they recommend administering antihistamines (Diphenhydramine/Benadryl) while you are en route to the clinic.
