Review DentaDish™:

Dental disease is one of the most commonly diagnosed diseases by veterinarians. As dog owners were not doing enough preventative measures like daily teeth brushing to help our dogs. So this dish was designed to provide a daily preventive without adding extra work for the dog owner. You already feed your dog every day, simply using this dish with every meal can help clean your dog’s teeth. The DentaDish™ went through a clinical trial where after a full dental cleaning, dogs who used to dish for each meal for 90 days showed very little to non-formation of plaque, tartar, and calcium on their teeth. This dish, with the addition of regular teeth checkups and cleanings from your vet, can help lower the chances of your dog developing dental disease. Brushing your teeth is not enough, you still must floss and see your dentist, it is the same for dogs.

DentaDish™ Review

When we saw the DentaDish™, I think Truffle and I both thought “what in the world is this?”. Truffle tried to eat the dish at first! It took a little bit to get him used to using it. I had to add some food topper to the food so he would try to eat it. He would give up half way through at first and wait for me to come dump the food out. But I didn’t! After about a day or so, he loved his new DentaDish™! Now that is the only thing that he uses to eat. In fact, he will take the DentaDish™ to bed with him now and just chew on it. I think it is because it feels good on his gums. Luckily the dish is super safe in case he bites any pieces off. I do take the dish away and give him an appropriate chew toy instead.

I have noticed a lot less plaque on his teeth, and his breath is not as bad as it used to be. It also takes him longer to eat the food which prevents him from inhaling it and having gas later! He also seems to be enjoying eating from DentaDish™. His tail wags a little when he eats.

We highly recommend the DentaDish™.

It should be noted, though, that the DentaDish™ is not meant to clean the teeth if they are bad. Take your dog to the vet and get a proper cleaning. The dish is supposed to help with the maintenance after a thorough cleaning with the addition of some treats like the WhimZees or Greenies to help clean the teeth on a daily basis. You should also brush your dog’s teeth on a regular basis, although the DentaDish™ can help with that.
